About us

Ministry of Science of Technology, Government of Pakistan has established “Precision Systems Training Centre (PSTC), Lahore” under the umbrella of Pakistan Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (PCSIR), located on canal side at PCSIR Campus, Ferozepur Road, Lahore.

Since most of the Engineering Industry of the country is in the province of Punjab and, therefore, industrialists of the province were long demanding PSTC at Lahore. The demand of the province is fulfilled and PSTC – Lahore came into being in early 2007.

To be the prominent institute providing the technical and vocational education for all with ambition to accomplish professional brilliance.

     The mission of the institute is:

Courses

Mechanical Technology with Specialization in PMIT is a three-year Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) program offered by Precision System Training Centre (PSTC), Lahore, PCSIR, under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of Pakistan.

This program provides students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in modern mechanical manufacturing, production management, maintenance, and industrial technologies. The curriculum combines theoretical learning with hands-on training to prepare graduates for careers in manufacturing industries, production facilities, maintenance departments, and industrial organizations.

The diploma is affiliated with the Punjab Board of Technical Education (PBTE), Lahore, and examinations are conducted according to PBTE regulations.

The Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Computer Information Technology (CIT) is a three-year technical diploma offered by Precision System Training Centre (PSTC), Lahore, PCSIR, under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of Pakistan.

The program prepares students for careers in software development, computer hardware, networking, database management, systems administration, and internet technologies. Students gain practical and theoretical knowledge of computer systems, programming languages, operating systems, web technologies, and network infrastructure.

The diploma is affiliated with the Punjab Board of Technical Education (PBTE), Lahore, and examinations are conducted under PBTE regulations. Graduates are equipped with the technical skills required to meet the growing demands of the information technology industry.

Dies & Mould Technology (DM) is a specialized three-year Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) program offered by Precision System Training Centre (PSTC), Lahore, PCSIR, under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of Pakistan.

This unique program focuses on the design, manufacturing, maintenance, and repair of dies, moulds, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and precision tools that are essential for modern industrial production. Students receive extensive hands-on training in conventional and CNC machining, CAD/CAM applications, tool design, plastic injection moulds, press tools, die casting moulds, and quality control techniques.The curriculum is designed to meet the needs of the automotive, plastic, packaging, aerospace, electrical, and engineering industries. Students develop practical skills in precision engineering, product development, reverse engineering, and advanced manufacturing technologies, enabling them to contribute effectively to industrial growth and innovation.
